About Us

Johannesburg College of Achievements started its operations as Johannesburg School of Achievements in the year 2008. In order to broaden its scope of operations the name changed in the year 2010 to Johannesburg College of Achievements, duly registered with Companies Intellectual Property Office (CIPRO), now CIPC, as Pty Ltd in the year 2010 with the ultimate aim and objectives of positively impacting the development of an integrated sustainable economy through education and training.
Johannesburg College of Achievements takes pride in being the first interracial college in the southern part of Johannesburg, being the first Further Education and Training (FET) College at that. Students at JCAP come from Ennerdale and the adjoining Communities, with the majority of students hailing from Lawley and Fine Town.

JCAP is established not only to focus on academic learning and excellence, but to harp on character development and mitigate the tide of moral degradation and delinquency that pervades our societies. The philosophy of Johannesburg College of Achievements and Projects (JCAP) is the one that realizes that the light of knowledge illuminates the mind, liberates the man and upgrades human qualities, faculties and professional skills that result in discernable impact on all areas of human endeavor. We believe in the power of education to create social and economic mobility and to enhance the morality of social values. We also believe in making higher education accessible to everyone.
Johannesburg College of Achievements and Projects (JCAP) is a unique Further Education and Training Private College, born in due time to address the gaps in quality education in South Africa and beyond. But more importantly, JCA is focused on raising exceptional leaders that bear the mark of Christ and are poised to brighten their light across different walks of life nationally and globally.

The vision implies that JCAP is to be a citadel of learning for holistic human transformation and development anchored on the tripartite wheel of Character, Competence and Courage. This vision has found expression in our Outcome-Based Education approach, which is driven by diligent and competent staff in a most serene environment. We are determined to create a model Further Education and Training Private College to address the gaps in quality education that is poised to compete with the best in the world. Johannesburg College of Achievements and Projects (JCAP) is established not to add up the numbers but to make a clear difference. In this journey to making a positive difference, we have with us the unflinching support of our Savior, the steadfast Anchor in life’s stormy sea; unmistakable guidance through God's immortal Word, the Bible; and the undaunted commitment of our proprietor - the Chancellor, A.O. Olatunde and the entire Board of Directors, together with the Management team in all of our educational groups.

The changed location of the Institution notwithstanding, Johannesburg College of Achievements and Projects is still firmly rooted in its historic purpose: "to promote the cause of Christ." Adherence to the College's scriptural foundation, "God has made of one blood all peoples of the earth," shapes the College's culture and programs so that students and staff alike can work toward both personal goals and a vision of a world shaped by God`s values, such as the power of love over hate, human dignity and equality, peace and justice.
Our environment frees people to be active learners, workers, and servers as members of the academic community and global citizens. The JCA experience nurtures intellectual, physical, aesthetic, emotional, and spiritual potentials and with those, the power to make meaningful commitments and translate them into action.
